On Friday 2 August, Principals’ Day 2019 took the hashtag #PrincipalsDay2019 by storm! Principals from all over Victoria were celebrated for the incredible work they do year round in the public education sector. Some principals being treated to morning tea or lunch with their colleagues, others received hand-made gifts and cards from their students, and in some schools we even found principals taking part in fancy dress! Check out some of the fantastic photos from the day below.
Principals' Day, initiated by the Victorian Principals Association (VPA) over 18 years ago, is an ongoing opportunity we support to recognise the valuable work performed by the Principal Class in Victorian Government Schools. The day has since picked up traction in other jurisdictions around Australia and abroad.
