Victorian Principals Association offers three forms of membership - Principal Class Membership, Associate Membership and Alumni Membership.
VPA Principal Class Membership
VPA Principal Class membership is open to individuals who hold, or who have held, principal class positions with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. VPA Principal Class membership offers:
- Professional advice and assistance
- Collegiate support
- Professional Learning opportunities
- Annual State Conference
- National ‘Leadership in Focus’ quarterly journal
- Ability to apply for VPA Study Awards
- Afforded Exchange Program opportunities (interstate and overseas)
- Member Benefits Program
- Advocacy on behalf of members
- Voting rights at VPA Annual General Meeting
- Membership of VPA offers automatic membership of APPA (Australian Primary Principals Association) and AGPPA (Australian Government Primary Principals Association
Annual Subscription $575 (inc GST), or $22.12 per fortnight (inc GST)
VPA Associate Membership
VPA Associate Membership is open to individuals who hold, or who have held, leading teacher positions with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. VPA Associate Membership offers:
- Professional advice and assistance
- Collegiate support
- Professional Learning opportunities
- Annual State Conference
- National ‘Leadership in Focus’ quarterly journal
- Member Benefits Program
Annual Subscription $287.50 (inc GST), or $11.06 per fortnight (inc GST)
VPA Alumni Membership
VPA Alumni Membership is open to individuals who have held principal class positions with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and are in their first ten years of retirement. VPA Alumni Membership provides a category of membership that allows greater involvement in the first 10 years of retirement, before joining the Retired Victorian Principals Association. VPA Alumni Membership offers:
- Monthly VPA eletter
- National 'Leadership in Focus' quarterly journal
- Collegiate support
- Networking
- Opportunities to remain involved in and contribute to the Education community
