The VPA started the year well with a productive Board and State Council Planning Seminar. The concept of the VPA being a ‘Connected, United and Powerful’ network is very relevant within our present context. The draft 2013-2014 VPA Strategic Plan is being circulated and will be available soon...

VPA & Chinese Connections

An amazing opportunity for leadership teams in Victoria.

The VPA has conducted three very successful China Study Tours in 2010, 2011 and 2012. We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create ongoing Professional Leadership Partnerships between Jiangsu Education Bureau (JESIE) and the VPA. Access a copy of the MOU here- VPA & JESIE MOU

ICP 2013

The Convention will be one of the premier events of 2013, expected to attract over 1500 leaders in the education sector including primary, secondary, Catholic and independent school principals and administrators from across the globe.

Communication

Some of our members have suggested that Twitter would be an interesting way to improve communication with our members so we have established a VPA Twitter profile. Twitter will provide instant text messaging from the VPA to Telstra mobiles to a maximum 140 characters and will be another timely and convenient way of connecting with our members. Unfortunately, Optusnet mobiles are not enabled to use the SMS Twitter service, but Optusnet users can still follow VPA tweets through the Twitter website which can be accessed via mobile phones as well.
